marina levitskaya first began her multifaceted artistic career as a pianist, performing artist, and educator. after her arrival in the united states, she extended her education in figurative sculpture at a number of prestigious new york schools, including the new york academy of art. she has participated in a number of exhibitions in various new york city and new jersey museums and galleries.

in 2001, ms. levitskaya entered the world of the theater, founding the
russian american theatre center “cherry orchard,”
and becoming its first artistic director.

ms. levitskaya is co-anchor of a biweekly radio program on the theater, a theatrical photographer, and a journalist. with time, her interest in photography has expanded far beyond chronicling theatrical events, and has become yet another successful artistic endeavor. recently she has become more and more involved in portrait photography for adults, children alike and models unlike.
